Not the biggest fan of Chevy Chase, I admit, but this is a pretty decent list of films I’ve actually enjoyed…. mostly.

I LOVE Chase. Caddyshack was one of my favourite films growing up, I watched it numerous times. Chase has me in stitches in that one particularly, but the Vacation series cannot be ignored.

I miss Chevy. I loved and grew up on him in the 80s. Fletch made me laugh so hard. But eveyone of these films are great sunday afternoon flicks.

Nicely done oh buddy oh pal!!

I haven’t seen many Chevy Chase films so it seem like I should start now by watching National Lampoon’s Vacation. This really sound like one fun movie I’ll enjoy a lot.

@Rodney: Surprising, sometimes, how an actor who you don’t find particularly memorable finds his or her way into many noteworthy films.

@Candice: I think National Lampoon’s Vacation and Christmas Vacation are both great comedies. European Vacation has its moments but I’ve never liked the way it was directed. Again, Vegas has its moments too, and is more in keeping with the original film.

@Tyler: Have you see Hot Tub Time Machine – Chase makes a funny cameo in the film.

@Ronan: What started his demise was his middle 1990s self-imposed rejection of what had made him a star. He wanted to make more dramatic films which didn’t work out and he ended up making poor comedies instead.

@Custard: The comeback is on! See Hot Tub Time Machine! , The International Financial Issues, Suze Orman, Business studies, personal finance, Suze Orman
